Let us know below. This is a followup to my post about installing HA on MacOS here. Even if you don't have a MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, you can take advantage of BetterTouchTool's other customizations for the Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad. It won't brick your Mac, and quite frankly, it's such a good customizable tool that it should be on everyone's Mac. Though you can't download BetterTouchTool from the Mac App Store - it's the kind of app that requires far too much system hook-in to be properly sandboxed under Apple's rules - it's still a solid app from a respected developer. Better Touch Tool isn't in the Mac App Store - but you should still own it I suggest browsing around the predefined actions to see everything you can do. You'll have to allow it to control your computer through your Security & Privacy's Accessibility. If you're interested, download BetterTouchTool and then move the download into your Applications folder to get started. One Touch Bar action I created for Slack - thanks to a little help from Alex W - included a shortcut that let me switch between chat rooms with just a tap. Open a specific app you've built Touch Bar actions for, however, and the bar will shift to displaying those buttons instead. Card games spider solitaire 2 suits2/10/2024 ![]() Plus, with customizable backgrounds, card decks, and game rules, you can make each game your own. Not only will you be able to play Spider Solitaire Two Suits, but you'll also have access to popular games like Klondike, FreeCell, and Pyramid. Why settle for just one solitaire game when you can have access to over 565 different variations? That's what you get when you download BVS Solitaire Collection 8.9.02 for Windows 11, 10, 8, 7, and XP. This game is a variation of Spider Solitaire. All gaps (empty spaces) in the tableau have to be filled before the deal. When you have made all the moves initially available, click on the stock pile to deal one card onto each tableau pile. When any tableaus are empty you can fill the space with any card. Groups of cards in sequence downwards by the same color may be moved as a unit. One card at a time can be moved from pile to pile. Two Suit Spider Solitaire is played just like the 1 suit version, except youll need to pay more attention to the suits, as you must build the stacks of cards. You may build tableau piles down regardless of suit, ending at the Ace. The top cards of tableau piles are available to play. To build 8 sequences down by color within the tableau (each running from King to Ace) and then move them to the 8 foundations. 54 cards are dealt to these piles (6 cards are dealt to the first four piles and 5 cards to the remainder). Each card occurs four times, making up the 104. The 1-suit and 2-suit game use the same number of cards but all the cards dealt are 1 or 2-suits. We also offer a 1-suit game and a 2-suit game. In this online version we play the standard 4-suit game. As the name of the game implies, cards are only from two suits: hearts and spades. Spider Solitaire is usually played with two standard decks of 52 playing cards each. Spider Solitaire Two Suits uses two decks (104 cards). Growing up black and white2/10/2024 Although her husband is particularly involved with the black community as a friend and physician, Lillian is more removed and even seems to resent her son making black friends. Rick's mother, Lillian Stoner, was also especially well-written. Oh, and Georgey-her impromptu prayers had this agnostic's heart aching. ![]() Ritter's ability to write Rick Stoner from childhood to late high school stuck with me-the protagonist never sounded too old or wise for his age, the downfall of many authors attempting to write child characters, and his voice changed accordingly as he grew (I think particularly of his unbearable moodiness toward Georgey and his family during his teens). Having finished this book just about two weeks ago, what still stands out to me most are the characters. (For Kindle users: I have seventeen and a half pages of highlights. I tried going through my highlights and notations in my Kindle copy to prepare to write this review, but I gave up after a while because, honestly, they're too numerous to mention. At least some of the story is autobiographical-there are references to real events, like the marches from Selma and the Emmett Till murder, and, more personally, Ritter's mother was a concert pianist like Rick Stoner's-but Ritter himself has said this is a work of fiction. ![]() Much of his (and his family's) growth is ushered along by their highly religious, African-American nanny named Georgey. Set during the start and peak of the American civil rights movement in Indianapolis, the story revolves around Rick's coming-of-age-making friends, experiencing first love, and looking racism in the face-in a mostly black neighborhood. Growin' Up White is the story of the Stoner family, told from the perspective of middle child Rick Stoner. Hair bead extension2/10/2024 ![]() While a professional stylist should still be recruited to install, move-up, and remove these extensions (more on that shortly), the advantage of beads is that you don’t need chemical removers or excessive heat to work on them, so those with particularly sensitive hair and skin can benefit from a beaded method, rather than tape or fusion hair extensions. Small bundles of hair, called strands, are attached to hair near the roots with a small bead, rather than wefts that are more typical of the tape-in method. There are a few different kinds of beads, but they are all tiny and soft enough to be crimped down to hold the hair and the hair extension in place during installation. The beads used for microbead extensions are very small, but perfectly sized to hold both the natural hair and the tip of the hair extension. Kerbal multiplayer2/9/2024 ![]() I also foresee this forum, which has always been the most pleasant and polite community I've ever been part of, becoming rather less so. So those who don't care about MP and don't want things changed because they like them the way they are will be forced into the cookie-cutter version that the game ultimately settles into. And any repeatable glitch that many might enjoy for humor or rollplay in SP games will have to be removed to avoid it being an exploit in MP games. Worse, there will now be an endless series of whines and rants and demands to "balance" this or that part or gameplay aspect because of perceived issues in MP games. If you want Feature X, get the mod for it and let everybody else enjoy the game as they see fit. ![]() But with KSP being an SP-only game, it's always been possible to shut these folks up by pointing out that what happens in the privacy of an SP game has exactly zero impact on anybody else. Same goes with loud demands for what some consider "realism" features, especially when voiced by folks who think everybody should play the way THEY want to play. It's been a constant theme in these forums since forever that some players have loudly criticized how other players play the game. I don't see it being a good thing for the game and am totally not thrilled that it will be in KSP2. But that's just my idea, what about you?įirst, I have NEVER wanted MP in KSP. Maybe there will be a space-race mode where you can play against someone else and try and beat them to the mun or another moon or planet. So, how do you think multiplayer, a thing we've all wanted in ksp for some time and are now getting in KSP 2, will work? My idea is that there might be a create server thing and after you create a server you can invite players to the server and build with them in real time. eventually), so based on that I wouldn't count out players able to control entirely seperate vehicles across great distances. I am trying to not make too much of some of these little bits of the trailer, but the people that design these things are often very careful of what they show and what it can promise (well, except maybe for NMS, but they made good. Then again, the trailer did have multiple rockets taking off right at the end. What's probably most likely is a P2P coop setup where you can be seperate kerbals on the same ship or local area. But even without that, I think a server that would support players on different planets could be challenging, so I wouldn't take it for granted. ![]() Private servers could be interesting, especially if you servers can perpetually simulate orbits, courses, burns etc. This feature is a godsend for new players who aren't familiar with the game's basic controls or their ability to pause, speed up, or slow down the progression of time in a space mission.I think MMO perpetual servers is a tall ask, and would likely need to factor in some additional payment plan, either through subscription or microtransactions, neither of which I think the fanbase would get behind. Additionally, the spaceship assembly and spaceflight tutorial missions are now fully voice-acted and automatically pause whenever a new step in the lesson needs to be taught. First, each tutorial mission is paired with a short animated video where a narrator uses cartoon icons to teach players about the physics of real spaceflight (as opposed to spaceflight in games like the planet-hopping Star Wars Jedi: Survivor). The tutorials in the Kerbal Space Program 2 early access are much more approachable and comprehensive for several reasons. To truly master the gameplay of KSP 1, however, most players will need to experiment heavily or consult video tutorials. KSP 1 does come with a basic set of tutorial missions, centered around core gameplay mechanics such as building a staged rocket, launching a spaceship into orbit, or plotting out orbital maneuvers with the node system. ![]() Newcomers to the Kerbal Space Program multiplayer space race, however, may want to purchase the early access before Kerbal Space Program 1 for a single, simple reason: KSP 2 has a much better tutorial system. As mentioned before, the early access version of Kerbal Space Program 2 is far from complete in terms of gameplay features. In simpler terms, it’s a tool that lets you create a story bible and attach it to your world’s map. Well, you can write about that war and attach it to said mountain. It lets you upload maps (it doesn’t create the maps) and add all the worldbuilding information you want to them. This is one of the best worldbuilding tools I’ve seen. Its initial version was crteated for the Montly Challenge on Reddit and back then maps it produced werent much more than city-shaped Voronoi diagrams. You can add elements to your heart’s desire with this software, and the really cool thing is the use of a brush that lets you edit those elements even more (like making a lake bigger on one side). Medieval Fantasy City Generator (MFCG) is the most developed and most popular generator of this set. You could also use it to create region maps of specific continents, and maybe even city maps (though that’s more of a stretch). It’s used to create detailed continents - similar to Inkarnate, but easier to use and better-looking. This is a one-time purchase software that creates detailed maps reminiscent of Middle-earth. Even though it’s a world map, it’s very detailed, because it shows cities and other points of interest. What might be the coolest thing about this software is that it lets you populate your map and then run the history of your world forward to see how it changed (cultures spreading or forming states, for example). It generates a world for you that you can edit heavily you can customize anything from land masses to the world’s temperature. WorldSpinner is one of those free-for-30-days-but-you-have-to-pay-afterwards kinds of software. It’s pretty simple, there aren’t that many details you can add to the map, but it’s a nifty tool to generate continents or islands. You can edit the terrain, background, icons and text style once it generates your map and once you like it you can save it as a PNG on your computer. It creates simple maps with almost a hand-drawn style. Unlike other generators, this is a free software that you have to download on your computer. But you can add some things like temples, castles or rivers, and you can warp and style your map so it ends up being a lot more customizable than you would think. The generator focuses on the outline of the buildings that coat the city, so it’s not very detailed. It will give you a random cityscape at first, but you can edit it quite a bit. Watabou’s generator is a bit different from the others. Donjon also has a second map generator that lets you put a bit of extra stuff, like names, on top of the original map you created. You can change the coloring style of the map, too. It mostly lets you build a world map, with tools for editing the water, ice and land quantities. One of its tools is a simple fractal world generator that isn’t too detailed, but it’s quite functional. ![]() With it, you can create new names, storylines, and calendars, among other things.
